Ramon Manglano, M.D.
Ramon Manglano, M.D., has been practicing general surgery since 1993. He served his residency in general surgery with the Metropolitan Group Hospitals, affiliated with the University of Illinois, and is board certified. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in advanced laparoscopic procedures such as laparoscopic colon resections, splenectomies, gall bladder resections, appendectomies, lysis of adhesions and gastric procedures to prevent heart burn and gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies. He also has a strong interest in the treatment of breast diseases. Dr. Manglano is affiliated with Advocate Tinley Woods Surgical Center, Metro South Medical Center (formerly St. Francis, Blue Island) and Palos Community Hospitals. Dr. Manglano speaks fluent Spanish.
