James J. Sylora, M.D., board certified in urology,strives to treat all patients in an honest and forthright fashion offering all effective options for diagnosis and treatment working with the patient making them an integral part of the decision process. Dr. Sylora has been an innovator in advanced urologic treatments being one of the first urologists in the area to perform robotic laparoscopic prostatectomy, Prolift pelvic floor reconstruction and cryotherapy of kidney and prostate. He is one of the few urologists able to offer and perform all minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer. Dr. Sylora is on staff at Metro South Medical Center (formerly St. Francis, Blue Island), Little Company of Mary, Loyola University and Palos Community Hospitals.
