Pediatrics
A pediatrician is a physician who specializes in screening and evaluation babies and children for appropriate growth and development. The pediatrician will also assess abnormalities and disabilities, if any. The pediatrician also provides vaccination of babies and children, and advice about specific disease prevention, feeding, diet, food supplements, and other nutritional concerns. He or she will also treat illness, including admission the hospital when necessary, and may also provide coordination of care for children receiving treatment from different specialists. Also provides health education for the family.
